Terms and Conditions
Purpose
These terms apply to every reservation made with DAR AMASTAN by RIAD LE BONHEUR DE MOGADOR, 23 Rue Sebta, Old Medina, Essaouira, online, by email, by phone or directly on site.
Capacity and children
The property has 11 rooms and suites. Premium rooms accommodate strictly two guests, with no extra bed or baby cot. Deluxe suites may accommodate one child under 16 and one baby with complimentary breakfast, subject to prior confirmation for bedding.
Reservation and guarantee
A reservation is confirmed after written confirmation from the property and payment of a 30% deposit. A valid credit card or bank transfer is required as guarantee.
Rates, taxes and payment
Prices are per room, per night, with breakfast included. Tourist and Tourism Promotion Taxes of 7 MAD per person per night are payable on site. On-site payment is accepted in cash in MAD, by credit card and in foreign currencies at the official exchange rate on departure day.
Cancellation and modification
More than 30 days before arrival: the deposit is refunded, excluding possible bank fees. Between 30 and 5 days: the deposit is retained. Less than 5 days before arrival or in case of no-show: the full stay is charged. An early departure is charged in full.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 1:00 PM. Arrivals after 10:00 PM must be reported. Check-out is before 11:00 AM. Unauthorized late check-out may incur an additional night.
House rules
Valid identification is required on arrival: passport for international travellers and national ID for Moroccan citizens. Moroccan couples may be required to present a marriage certificate under applicable regulations. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited in rooms; a designated terrace is available. Guests remain financially responsible for damage caused by themselves or their visitors.
Force majeure and disputes
The property cannot be held responsible for disruptions outside its control, including municipal water or electricity outages and Essaouira weather conditions. In force majeure cases, guests may be relocated to a nearby property of equivalent standard. These terms are governed by Moroccan law, with exclusive jurisdiction assigned to the courts of Essaouira.
